Partners in Science Program from the M. J. Murdock Charitable Trust- Partners In Science awards are made to colleges and universities and to other qualified research institutions to enable high school science teachers to participate in full-time research for 8-10 weeks during the summer. Applications are accepted from researchers in the natural sciences at institutions located in areas where the Partners in Science Program is available.

Educational Grants from the Eaton Charitable Fund- Giving on a national basis in areas of company operations to support organizations involved with arts and culture, education, children and youth, families, and community development. Special emphasis is directed toward organizations with which employees of Eaton are involved. Initial request should be through a local Eaton plant or human resources manager. No support for religious organizations not of direct benefit to the entire community; fraternal or labor organizations. No grants to individuals, or for endowments, medical research, general operating support for United Way agencies or hospitals, or debt reduction, fundraising events, or sponsorships; no loans.
