Watch Us Bloom

watchusbloom This is a great way to start off a new school year! On the first day of school, you will take a picture of each child and "plant" each photo into a flowerpot.

Goal:

  • To see how the children have grown and bloomed over their kindergarten year

Before You Start: You will need: flower pots, a camera, colored foam sheets (shaped like flowers), foam leaves, glue gun (adult use only). green craft sticks, floral foam, and moss.

Let's Get Started! Step 1. Have the children decorate their flowerpots - let them be as creative as they want to be!

Step 2. Cut the photo so only the child's face is shown.

Step 3. Glue the photos on colored foam sheets, shaped (traced) like a flower.

Step 4. Then, glue them onto a green craft stick with foam leaves.

Step 5. Stick the flower into floral foam and cover the foam with moss, so it looks like the child is blooming out of the pot.

Furthermore: Makes the perfect gift for parents!
