Before You Start: Write a short letter on the board before the students arrive describing the day's activities. Make several mistakes in grammar and spelling.
Let's Get Started! Step 1. Every morning, write a letter on the board with grammar mistakes. The letter can contain anything, and can be any length you like. The students’ job is to find as many of the mistakes as possible. Go over each mistake as it is found, then point out any that were missed. Discuss the theme for the day.
Furthermore: Kids love coming in and reading the morning letter describing what the day has in store for them. It is a ritual that they can look forward to.
